SEAT came into existence back in 1950, in response to the underlying fact that statistically at that time there were only 3 vehicles for every 1,000 Spanish folk. Maths which needed some serious overhauling.

A few memorable vehicles later - not least the SEAT Ibiza System-Porsche (go Google, if in any doubt) - and VAG stepped in to safeguard SEAT’s survival and redirect its long-term future.

Focusing on a cross-range of models which appeal to every type of car buyer, SEAT has ventured from strength to strength ever since.
